You leave a ribbon of light wherever you ride. Cut people off with yours, and don't crash into theirs.

First across the line. Jumps, corkscrews and your own ribbon to block the pack behind you.
The original grid. Permanent walls, no power-ups, pure reflexes.
Every map has its own shape and its own trick, from the glass galleries under the city to a wheel standing on its edge.
Grab a power-up and hold on to it. Throw it at the worst possible moment for somebody else.

Throw it ahead: it bursts on a rider or a wall, blasting riders away and shattering their ribbon.

Your next throw flies dead straight, faster and two and a half times as far.

Your next throw locks on to the nearest rider ahead and chases them down.

Race: a wave runs down the track and stalls every rider ahead of you.

A hologram of you rides alongside. Its ribbon derezzes too, and Seekers go for it.

The next disc that would hit you flies straight back at its thrower.

The next disc thrown at you from behind shatters on your guard.

Arena: the next ribbon you hit opens up around you instead.

Race: fills your ribbon meter. Arena: your ribbon lasts twice as long.

Race, last place: five seconds at full boost speed without spending boost.
